Underneath the streets of Paris, are a series of catacombs - an eternal home to countless souls. Filled with secrets, and rumored treasures, a group of young explorers venture deep underground to try and unlock some of it's great mysteries. Unbeknownst to them, the maze of human bones only winds deeper and deeper until eventually they are face to face with their own personal demons and finding a way out becomes increasingly difficult. Only when they begin to apply the meaning to the philosophy as above, so below ("That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracle of the One Thing") is there any chance of hope for their escape.
Shot in a first person point of view, the film gives you the claustrophobic feeling of being in the catacombs with the group - not a place that I care to visit. Not to those depths anyway... And with only a shoddy treasure map to guide them, things quickly unravel and you find yourself just as terrified for yourself as you are for them. Don't miss this one. Better than expected.
