By now, we all know the story of 'Dracula'. Though have you ever wondered exactly how he, himself came to be? This film explores the possibility behind the legend.
When his kingdom is threatened, Prince Vlad will stop at nothing to keep his family and his people protected, no matter what the cost. In order to obtain a power strong enough to fight off the enemy, he must become a monster himself that even his own people fear, for the sake of life.

Originally, the previews did nothing for me. Especially given my recent viewing of the 1992 film Dracula, I had no desire to sit through another version of the story. Though after the fact, I am glad that I did. All stories have a beginning, and it's good to know why things have unfolded the way that they do. Questions are answered here, and you realize that his intentions were good in the beginning. Plus the cinematography and the graphics were done well. Hardly a classic like it's predecessor(s), but definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of the tale.
