After their father unexpectedly passes away, the grown Altman siblings are carrying out his dying wish of keeping the family together under one roof. Their mother "grounds" them, and that's where our story really begins to unfold. Throw in the added stress of reconnecting in addition to having their miscellaneous partners / spouses - and you will obviously find chaos. As well as - your family.
Initially, I felt indifferent towards this film. Then after seeing it - I feel indifferent towards this film. It's not that it was completely awful, but I felt like there was no chemistry among the cast members to be considered a 'family' - regardless of whether they had been estranged or not. Plus the comedy, where they tried to plug it in, just fell flat. Every time.
